Take in expansive views of the Kona coastline on your way to sample some of the island’s finest homegrown coffees and locally-made Hawaiian sweetbreads and malasadas. Then, dip your feet in a black sand beach before our tour climbs 4,000 feet to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where you’ll see some of the world’s most unique geological landscapes. We end the day with a 3-course dinner, then head back to Kona over Saddle Road under the stars of the Milky Way.

Tour Details

Premium Kona Coffee Farm Breathe in the fresh mountain air at one of our favorite coffee roasters while sampling a wide selection of Kona coffees. The Kona coffee belt produces an exceptional coffee due to volcanic soil, a mild climate, light winds, ample rain, high elevations and the perfect amount of sunshine. Enjoy a deli-style lunch in the heart of Kona coffee country.. Punalu’u Bake Shop Here, we stop to peruse the southernmost bakery in the United States and enjoy fresh Hawaiian sweet breads and malasadas—a Portugese donut and favorite local treat. Punalu’u Black Sand Beach This incredible stretch of black sand beach is home to many nesting Hawaiian sea turtles, and is also a favorite spot for locals to fish and BBQ on the weekends.  Hawaii Volcanoes National Park We travel over wild and varied landscapes of the active Kilauea Volcano to witness the primitive process of creation and destruction in this powerful place. Experience the heat of steam vents rising up from cracks in the earth, and take a short hike through Thurston Lava Tube. If the lava is flowing and the weather is right, we’ll venture back into the park after dinner to view the magnificent glow of Halema’uma’u crater.  Restaurant Dinner
Three Course Catered Picnic Style Dinner and Wine Tasting at Volcano Winery- Monday and Tuesday
Three Course Restaurant Dinner at Kilauea Lodge- Wednesday- Sunday

“Fabulous tour with an excellent tour guide Zackary! Big Island Circle Tour and Volcano: Coffee, Wine, Waterfalls and Hamakua Coast Zackary provided a fabulous all day experience as our tour guide! Pick up was prompt, and Zack even offered the front passenger seat if we were prone to motion sickness. Zack was very friendly & knowledgeable which made all of us feel welcomed.”
