TEX DRIVE IN located on the Big Island, in beautiful Honoka’a, which once was a thriving sugar plantation on the Hamakua Coast. We’ve been serving “ono Kine grindz” (local Hawaiʻian food), plus other popular menu items, since 1969.

TEX has been published in airline magazines, Sunset Magazine, Bon Apetit’ and many other publications, and the restaurant has been featured in numerous venues.
